I don’t know why it’s so hard to find a complete list of new Mystery fiction releases. I keep searching, thinking that there must be another website that does this, but it seems like I’m the only one to have tried to put together such a list.
And book-seller websites don’t make it any easier. For whatever reason, it’s hard to get a list of upcoming publications listed in chronological order rather than based on some mysterious algorithm that puts “featured” publications first. And even those book-sellers that do make it possible to sort releases in chronological order don’t always distinguish between books that are truly “new” and never-before-published versus those that are reprints.
With that said, the following is my best attempt at compiling every new Mystery book being released in February 2019. Keep in mind that this list does not include books that are being released in a different format; for example, I’ve excluded books that are coming out in paperback but have been previously published in hardcover.

February brings with it new releases in some long-running series. Notable for having over 30 books in the series are: Jonathan Kellerman’s Alex Delaware Series; J.D. Robb’s In Death Series; and Mary Daheim’s Bed-and-Breakfast Mysteries.
Aside from that, using cover images, I’ve highlighted below a few titles I’m personally interested.
If you think the list above is missing something, let me know in the comments!
