Below is a list of American detective shows from the 1970s. This includes shows that started in the 1960s and continued into the 70s, as well as shows that started in the 1970s and continued into the 80s.

Eventually, I hope to reorganize this list more chronologically rather than alphabetically, and to add more details about each show.
